Welcome. I’m Kathy Jennings, artist, conservationist, surface designer and mad animal lover.

I live and work in the gorgeous Lake Macquarie area, two hours north of Sydney, Australia. I am surrounded by gorgeous lakes, the sea and bush all within a 5 minute drive of home. Black and white cockatoos visit me, rainbow lorikeets squabble in the trees and the eastern rosella’s breed in a neighbours’ breeding box. All of this is what inspires my art, my home and my life.

I try to capture each bird, flower or animal in its own way. The magnificent of a pink rose from my garden, the cheeky grin on a black cockatoo as he is destroying my banksia and sees me watching him and the magnificent colours that Australia does so well. I try to inject the personality of the subject.
